margaret rutherford as miss marple

since i got so many good feedback on this sculpture, and she was the favourite of my portrait challenge for me too, i went ahead and repaired the regions of the mesh that were broken by the multires bug, and made some more renders for all of us to enjoy 🙂

  1. oh, sorry for late reply, i overlooked it in the notifications… actually i did not know julia mckenzie as miss marple, but googled now some images. yes i can see why she might be more appealing, completely different character, rutherford is quite an eccentric old spinster in her role…lol.. thank you for commenting, its always great to hear from my readers. it means a lot to me.

  2. Truly wonderful and inspiring. Is this rendered in Blender? If so, I would love to know how you did the material, I’ve been trying to figure it out myself or find tutorials on how to make a ‘semi-wet sculpy clay’ in Blender but so far, no cigar. So if you could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

    • thank you artos… yes miss marple is by far my favourite of this series, and so i am particularly happy to hear if this sculpt pleases :-)… yes, try blender, but be aware, the interface is a steep learning curve, especially when coming from zbrush,,, i needed almost a week to be able to put a cube into the workspace…lol

      • Haha okay will certainly keep this in…Yeah I love this sculpt very much because of it’s surrealism..and the life you put into of the major thing I love about your sculpts.
